Describe a memorable journey you have taken by public transportation.

You should say:

  • Where and when did you take this journey?
  • What mode of public transportation did you use?
  • Why was this journey memorable for you?
  • How did you feel about the overall experience?

My most memorable journey by public transportation was a train trip I took from Hanoi to Sapa, Vietnam, in 2022. I had always wanted to visit Sapa, a picturesque mountain town known for its stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage. The train ride was long, but it was also incredibly scenic. We passed through lush green valleys, towering mountains, and charming villages. I spent most of the journey gazing out the window, mesmerized by the beauty of the Vietnamese countryside.

One of the things that made the journey so memorable was the people I met on the train. I shared a compartment with a group of Vietnamese students who were traveling to Sapa for a weekend getaway. We spent the journey chatting, laughing, and taking pictures together. I was particularly impressed by their kindness and generosity. When they saw that I was interested in Vietnamese culture, they took the time to teach me about their customs and traditions.

When we finally arrived in Sapa, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of the town. The mountains were shrouded in mist, and the air was crisp and clean. I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation as I disembarked from the train. I knew that I was about to embark on a truly unforgettable adventure.

Overall, my train trip from Hanoi to Sapa was an unforgettable experience. I was able to see some of the most beautiful scenery in Vietnam and meet some wonderful people along the way. I would highly recommend this journey to anyone looking for a unique and memorable travel experience.

Ý tưởng trả lời câu hỏi Part 3

  1. How do you think transportation has evolved over the years?

Transportation has evolved dramatically over the centuries. In the past, people relied on traditional modes such as horse carriages and boats. With the advent of the Industrial Revolution, steam engines and railways revolutionized transportation. Today, we have an array of transportation options, from cars and airplanes to high-speed trains, making travel faster and more convenient than ever before.

  1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using private vehicles?

Private vehicles offer convenience and flexibility, enabling people to travel whenever and wherever they want. They also provide privacy and the ability to transport large or heavy items. However, private vehicles contribute to traffic jams, air pollution, and increased energy use. Additionally, owning and maintaining a car can be costly.

  1. How can cities encourage people to use bicycles as a mode of transportation?

Cities can promote bicycle usage by making it easier and more convenient for people to ride bikes. This includes building dedicated bike lanes, providing secure parking facilities, and offering bike-sharing programs. Additionally, cities can offer incentives, such as reduced parking fees, to encourage people to choose bicycles over cars. Finally, raising awareness about the environmental and health benefits of cycling can further motivate people to use this mode of transportation.
